I quickly setup a Quick Start as the Terrans. Sounds are super, runs smooth. Hehe, now back to the game.

I'll check and see how loading the ModPack by Tampa, Mephisto, et al works and let ya know tommorow.

Manual is WAY better than the original, especially like the section on modding and the extras available on the CD

I'll let ya know tonight how those extras do
tonight...

BTW the TDM-Modpak is great, as usual..

WOO HOO! It's here.

I agree the manual is way cool. One thing though Richard. In the list of mods it has me listed as the author for the PBW Real Time Client. That should actually be Doug Fields, aka Admiral. I contributed to the readme and zipped the whole thing up and sent it Tampa, but Doug's the author and should get the credit. Not a huge deal I guess, but if you have to do a second printing at some point maybe it could be corrected?

So far the AI is better...the Norak darn near killed me off...They did a maneuver of dashing in, firing missiles then dashing back out of range of my missiles....

I have to figure out the mod manager but I actually use very few mods. only one is the component enhancement mod from extras...darn nice one too!

I do use as many race-styles/shipsets as I can shove into SEIV and I appreciate them being in the extras folder so I don't have to d/l them

Darn..different game...darshoka (sp) did that dash in/fire/sprint out tactic....creamed me (no pd at the time)...

ran into both an "organic infestation" (ewwww) and a red giant....nice additions..

Atrocities: Well deserved. You and the others who contributed both to the various mods for both the gold and first edition of SEIV deserve a really big round of applause.

BTW: ARRGGHHH! Ya'll done too good a job on the AI's. *sniff* just my home system wiped by the Nostropholo
