				 Fighter supply trick
In turn based movement it is possible to release a specific amount of fighters into the orbit, mmh, I would like to do this in simultaneous also *sigh*.
How about a 1000 times supply ? Sent 1000 fighters into the orbit, recover 999 in the same turn, now your single fighter has enough supply for years!

 The use of this is?
Now since it doesn't work with drones (cause you can't recover) i don't see any great usefulness. Also, are you sure that really is right, sometimes it lies and doesn't actually work eventhough the display says so.

No, it doesn't. It has as much supplies as it will hold; the supplies for the rest of the fighters go with them.Quote:

The trick is just to recover, not to launch even one fighter within the same step:
-launch 10 fighters, 500 out of 500 supplies displayed
-recover 5 fighters, 500 out of 250 supplies displayed

And yes, I have moved them away to the next wormhole, results are approx. 450/250. Since the weapons need supplies now, the (ab)use of it is obvious, though they do not share supplies with other ships anymore.

The fact that fighters can store and use more supplies than its nominal capacity is obviously a bug and should be reported to MM.Quote:

				 Re: Fighter supply trick
Just a a side note, when a fighter is launched from a carrier, does it take it's supplies from the carrier's store? When it docks with a carrier, do it's supplies get added back to the carrier's?
If that's the case you could build a "resupply fighter". You could warp into a system, launch a stack of these and send them to a resupply depot, then have them rendezvous with the carrier on the exit warp point.
