				 personality Groups
I can't find any listing of the personality Groups, so I don't know what number to assign to the race I'm w0orking on. I don't even know which attribute determines the personality group--demeanor? Happiness type?
If someone could enlighten me, I'd appreciate it.

 Thanks.

				 Re: personality Groups
Neither. The personality group for each AI is assigned in the AI_settings file for that race.
This doesn't affect how the AI behaves in any way. What it's supposed to be for is the game uses the personality group percentages in the data/settings.txt file to decide which AI to choose for a random AI game.

 Thanks, Geoschmo.
So, any random number is fine? If so, I'll just leave it at "3," which was the number of whatever race [Terrans?] whose file I used as a basis for my race. Or are some numbers more likely to be picked for inclusion in a game than others?

In settings.txt, there a line that sets the % amount that a personality group is chosen. Groups 1-3 are set at 30% and group 4 at 10% by default.Quote:

				 Re: personality Groups
the point is that if you dont want your race to be with some other race you just set the same personality group, and the chances you'll get them both together will be much lower than if you didnt.
