Player emp files in the modpack too,....

Found that when starting a multiplayer pbem with the modpack 1.60 i need to put the player emp files in the empire directory under modpack too...

i assume this is normal.

yup, seems to be. I had to do the same...especially for the "custom" ones (ones I made up)..

Kinda confusing, as ya don't have to move the default races' shipsets...

okiedokiem,... just checking, didn't want to start a multiplayer game and then find out it is flawed and restart. That is such a bummer,.. rather get it right the first time.

Yes, unlike the .bmp files which WILL default back to the original directory, all .emp files that are to be used must be placed in the Mod directory \empire subdirectory. That is why the Mod Pack 1.60 places all the default race .emp files in there as well as the custom ones. There is a pretty good post from this past weekend regarding the mod directory and details each subdirectory's behaviour, it is worth reading.
