ewwwwww, that race portrait IS nasty. hehe and do I see some models derived from Homeworld? very nicely done!

Well, http://www.goldenmillion.com/stimg/voyager/8472.htm looks suspiciously like that race portrait, and that's a picture of Species 8472 from Star Trek: Voyager. At least the author could give credit, like he did when he swiped stuff from Homeworld....

I'd never seen the episode mentioned, though I'd heard a good bit about it. It looks like the original is a bit scrawnier. Good catch indeed. I wonder if it was legitimate parallel inspiration, or just that he forgot do give credit.
