Pathfinder, What settings do you use?

I have been playing at Computer difficulty Max, bonus low (medium map size, max opponents) but find by turn 70, its just a matter of time before I win. Fleet battles never seem to involve more than half a dozen ships each. Have started trying different game options to make it a bit tougher (eg medium bonus which seemed to make AI too strong early on).

Am interested in your thoughts...

I was using some of the MOD AI (EA, 2K Sergetti, Darlok 2k) medium bonus, medium difficulty, large quadrant, high player setting, max start worlds....

Plus I had the Ferengi, Eysk Imp Guard 2k, coupla other i can't remember. Tried to get some of the more aggressive AI ...did I ever!

I usually start with low bonus..maybe I need to drop back and punt, eh?

BTW, I am a lousy player I guess. AI gives me fits, even with no bonus, etc.
