OT: The Old SE IV EZforum.
Does any one recall the old Space Empires IV EZForum? It was the forum that lead me to Shrapnel Games back in 2000. I recently received an email from someone there who found the STM site and wanted to play the game. Oddly enough I recalled my user name and password and discovered that I had 554 global posts. Most of which were made in the SE IV forum. I was unable to find it. I don't recall hearing about it being shut down, but I guess it was since Shrapnel became so popular.
Any who, EZForums still suck.

Ya I think your right. I get them confused since I never use them any more. EZBoards is the correct name. I found a link to the site on the malfador seiv community page. But its just a dead end so I will conclude that the site is gone.

EZBoard deletes inactive boards after several months. Nearly every SE board on EZForums has suffered that fate.

Was Fyron on the EZBoards? I distinctly remember arguing with Fyron somewhere before the Shrapnel forums, but can't for the life of me remember where.
I've since learned better, and now agree with everything he says and mightily smite those who disagree. It's easier this way.

There were a lot of heated debates on the forum back then. It was a wondrous place until I discovered this site. Then I never went back. Now everything SE related is slowly shifting toward the official SE site. Good or bad eventually this forum will die just like the EZBoard Forum did.

The only SleazyBoard I ever participated in was for the Universe Ladder, and that only in a minor way.
