What is the projected release of SE V to be? Just a general type answer like summer of 2004. New to game and forum and have seen the talk about SE V and was just wondering what time frame it may come out. I think star fury is coming out this summer isn't it?

Starfury is coming out this summer. And production on SEV has yet to start Last I heard. I assume after Starfury is out they will begin to throw bits and pieces together into SEV, but I don't know for sure so don't mark my words.

My guess is 2005 or 2006. I have understood that SE5 is supposed to use the 3d engine of Starfury to replace the current 2d battles. Aaron might start making SE5 when he has finished Starfury but there is also a change that he does some other game next.

I think 2005. He'll be able to use pieces from Starfury and maybe from SEIV. If he's doing a complete rebuild then i would guess 2006.

That's too optimisitic Kwok. MM has not even started with the design stages of SE5 yet.

Too optimistic? No, its true, we're shooting for a summer 2004 release date for SE5. That may be unduly optimistic at this point, but what the hell. We have begun design of the game and are working out the UI as we speak.

Starfury should be out by July!
