Actually, against the AI you could probably get by with this. You just have to make sure you have a few more troops than you might normally.

Thanks for the input about agaist the AI. I usualy play that way solo. I'm wondering if I can get away with it against a human.

PBW doesn't need the shipset for anything. That's just there as a convienent way to share custom shipsets that are being used in games.
