Impressive game, which should be a pleasant distraction and... Well, perhaps not.  (Although there seem to be a bug, or us Users of Firebird are incredibly advantaged, as we don't have to actually Hold, as long as we remain on the Hold the Button page. *Evil chuckle*)
Around the same lines, here is the RPG that you will all enjoy, even if you hate RPGs with a passion. Ever felt bored? Then this cure is for you!

Thanks! I've been playing ever since I read you post. Progess Quest is possibly - no, certainly - the best freeware RPG I've ever played. I tried Nethack, but the interface was confusing and you die all the time. This has the most streamlined interface I've ever seen! Illwinter, are you reading this??? Dominions could use a few interface improvements - check out Progress Quest, that's the level of ease I want in Dom II!
I'm up to level 11 now (Voodoo Princess, Will O' the Wisp) and I just bought a +1 Studded Bearskin Hauberk. I didn't even know there were +1 studded bears!

Im worse!
not only am I board, but I am tired, grumpy and the pricks playing alegiance kicked me (I was dogfighting a scout and didnt do whatever the squad leader was wanting me to do - hell like I could even READ the damn chat while I was trying to sight that elusive and manuverable scout!!!) then tryed playing AAO and got fragged twice, shot three times before I even saw the enemy shooting at me, hell I dont think I even got ONE shot off in anger!
*sigh*
