				 (Hopefully) New SubTopic Download Areas
FYI - After viewing the additional directories for Runesword in the download section, I sent the following to Richard:
"I see that you added a number of download folders for Runesword. In that same vein, would it be possible to have the following (4) categories for SE4. It would make things a lot easier for some of the newbies.

 (1) "AI Races/Ship Sets"
 (2) "Data/Sound/Graphic Modifications"
 (3) "Modding and other Help Tools/Information"
 (4) "Maps and Scenarios"

Also, just a reminder to everybody (I know it has been repeated many times) but - PLEASE delete any older Versions that you have posted over in the download section. Sometimes it can get very confusing which is the latest Version of xxx mod or race.

This is a great idea Tampa, I'd like to second the motion.
I would also suggest changing it so that each persons download is a separate topic instead of all being replies to one topic. This would allow you to use the search function in the mod section.

Of course they probably weren't expecting the number of mod Posts that they have based on their other games.

 Stupid question time...
I went over to the Mod Forum to remove older Versions of the Rage, and I couldn't figure out how to delete my Posts. I know that I'm just missing something, but if someone could enlighten me, it would help!

 Thanks.

Not a stupid question at all Alpha.
Click on the edit button and it will take you to a screen that looks just like when you originally posted the message. Then you will see a box a the top to check if you want to delete it.

Unfourtanetly this would also require me to delete ALL of the current mods and you would have to submit ALL of them new. Some would get lost in the cracks as some folks may have moved on to other things.
I will do it but again you will lose ALL current mod postings.

Oh and when I mean do it, I mean use Tampa's suggestion. A topic for each mod would get out of hand quickly.

In that case I suggest that the owners copy their latest Posts into a local .doc now as a backup against that contingency. That way when Richard wipes the Forum everyone can repost the latests mods without having to type everything in again, just cut and paste from the backup...
 Just a thought...

Re: (Hopefully) New SubTopic Download Areas
We have moved the mods area for SE:IV into 4 seperate areas to make life easier.
I am locking that original thread down, PLEASE move any mods to the other threads as that one will disappear.
