				 Oh no! He\'s back!
I know, that's what I said Last year before disappearing again into the freezing wastlands of Obsucrity. Actually I was in Amsterdam, working as... um... where I went to... I saw... Well, I'm sure I was doing something, I just can't remember what. Anyhoo, thanks to a marginal increase in the ol' paycheque, I now have my very own home internet connection. Which I can easily afford as long as I don't eat.
Well, the main point of this post, aside from wanting to know what the devil all the old SE4 beta testers have been up to, is to ask exactly what's going on around here? I see we've got an SEV post going, which aside from it's daunting size, keeps refering to an SEV features list I cannae find and an IRC channel I stubbed my big toe looking for. So, lil' help? Where to go, what to see, how to do?

Heya! Your name doesn't ring a bell for me, and looking at your Posts, you cannot know me either (unless you are a psyche of some sort). So I will only say "Welcome back", for lack of something better to post.
The IRC channel is hosted at Spaceempires.net; information to connect to the channel can be found here . Fyron, the channel owner, should be able to give you a better explanation about how to access the channel, if needed; I am computer illiterate myself.

(Obscure Zorkian reference) In fact, I couldn't manage to change my graphic card even if you paid me. Well, if you paid me very well, I could perhaps make an effort. (/Obscure Zorkian reference I promised I would no longer use.) |

				 Re: Oh no! He\'s back!
Thanks, Alneyan... And PvK, my good man, how are you? Seen (heard, read?) Fyron around lately? Forum looks about the same as it always did, though my memory isn't what it was. The Proportions mod definately looks interesting, but to my eternal shame, I have not yet upgraded to SEIV Gold. As for PBW games, I think my habit of randomly wandering off for a few months would probably be detrimental to the enjoyment of the other players. And Lastly, how in the name of all things holy did you become a National Security Advisor while I'm still a Private? I was a GOD for crying out loud! Well, not really, but pretty close.

				 Re: Oh no! He\'s back!
It helps to post your name if you want people to remember you. -> Tim McElwain!
The SE IV list still exists on Yahoo, except that it's pretty much a discussion of what SE V should be now.

The 'features list' for SE V was posted in this forum somewhere or other. Couldn't find that thread myself but maybe someone else can.

Have you contacted Malfador? I bet they could use an extra artist if you've got spare time again. |
