				Periodic Rebootings...

My computer seems to reboot itself without warning roughly every day and a half to 2 days... It has been doing this for about a week now. Spyware scans turn up negative. Virus scans, the same. I have run HijackThis, and have afixed the log of the scan to this post. Does anything in there look like some form of malware?

Hmm... there are 5 or 6 instances of Explorer.exe in there, even though I only have one copy running... I have an alternate shell running, so there is no reason for more than a single instance of Explorer.exe...

There is some sort of minidump that has been generated, but it is all gibberish... not a log at all. :-\
Hmm... this was in the System Logs of the Event Viewer, from 10/20...

Do you have the chance to send an error report - do that if you haven't - and that will sometimes offer more of an explanation for your error than the dump file.
BTW, you call your computer "Dragon"?

What is aslm75 service? Google seems to say that it is some driver file for ASUS. I have an ASUS motherboard.

Also, I get some promptings by Spybot Tea Timer at every start of Windows about the following registry changes:

Process:
rundll32.exe streamci,StreamingDevicSetup

Values to be deleted related to that process:
MSPCLOCK
MSPQM
MSKSSRV
MPEO
STREAMIPO
SLIPO
CCDECODEO
NABTSFECO
WSTCODECO

Process:
c:\Winnt\system32\dxdllreg.exe

If you're using Windohs XP or maybe 2000 then by default when your computer resets and re-boots a message comes up offering to send an error report. Check your start up and recovery tab in the advanced tab of system properties - see what options you have selected.

Really? I thought it was something that started in ME? Isn't 2000 after that or am I just mistaken?

BTW, my other computer names are "Kwok" (laptop) and "Pookie" for my wife's laptop.

I dunno... I have never seen it in 2000, and I have never used ME.
