Here's a list of avian (bird) genera that I've been using. They make some interesting ship names.

This one is a from Douglas Adam's book "The Meaning of Liff". I actually use it for system names, but it will work well for ships too.

Using a pirate ship name generator found here, I've created a list of 100 pirate ship names. Some a pretty cool, so I've uploaded the list, but that generator is pretty cool.

Note: I haven't explored the site fully, but some of the generators are pretty cool. Enjoy!
