here is an older ship but with a new texture tell me what you think plz.

Do you want an honest opinion? Or the regular "Nice ship, great texture, keep up the good work." kind of opinion?
Assuming the honest opinion is the one you want,.. the current scale of the texture makes it look like a close up view of some odd (brushed metal)'tool' (perhaps it fell off an astronaught's utility belt while working on the space station.) You need to scale it way down and perhaps add some criss-crossing lines to indicate some sort of panelling.

Well doesn't look like a tool to me with the lava glow but yeah maybe a little too smooth so here we go

It looks to me like a torpedo or other type of guided weapon, with the narrow (front) end being the back, and the engine nacelles carrying the explosives.

Looks upside down to me, slightly blurry textures and what are those holes on the front?

the first picture, i had a hard time telling what i was looking at. The second one looks alot more like a ship of some sort.
the plain-black portholes look a bit odd. maybe try to give them some shading or depth. I cant tell if they are windows, or gunports, or what.
it looks to me that the engines are pointing towards the front, which is a little strange - but maybe its designed to guard retreats!
