Multiplayer empire save designs

Hi. i've just started playing seiv gold and can save my first few designs to the empire save file so i dont have do the same for each new game,but in multiplayer using the same empire file all the designs dont appear,anyone know if its possible to load in your designs into a mp game.thx

Where do they not appear? In the Ship Design window, or the Planetary Construction Queue window? If they don't appear in your ship design lists, then that means you didn't save the designs properly. If they don't appear in the Queue, then you just don't have the requisite technologies.

I'm kind of having the same problem. But I've had Gold for awhile now (in fact a couple days after it was released) and I just now started a multiplayer game, and MY problem is - I don't know if it's the same for Ramos - but I don't see my designs at all in my ship design window. It's possible to not save my empire file right? I just choose same empire then it asked me if I wanted to save my ship designs along with it and I said yes and then it saved. But in the multiplayer game they don't show up. My bro (whom I'm playin multiplayer game with) has the same problemt. Any suggestions?

yes i'm having the same problem as Ragnarok and yes i am sure i did save my designs,i cant see them in either the design or contruction windows,if i load in single player mode then all the designs are there in both windows but none in multiplayer mode.

Just a quick side note, my designs work perfectly in a normal game against the computer. They load and are there. But multiplayer they don't show up.

Maybe if you save you're empire in the Player setup screen it won't save any designs you had saved previously. It works fine in pre-Gold SEIV. There could be a bug. What kind of multiplayer game are you trying to play?

we are playing a 3 player tcp-ip lan game,none of us can see any designs we have made in a single player game in multiplayer,it not the end of the world just annoying.

I haven't had the opportunity to play a TCP/IP game, so there may very well be a bug. I'll have to try setting one up to see if I can replicate your results. If so, we can send a bug report to Aaron (Malfador).
