Modding from work, need a little info
I'm modding from work, yes I know I am a terrible employee, and I just need to know if a Bardiche is one handed or 2. Thank you. |

Where do I find this info? I know how to look inside mods but I can't find the vanilla game files for this sort of thing? |

You know, I don't know...I think you can look in game, but I don't think that any unit actually uses that weapon, even though it's coded in the game. |

You can define a weapon yourself, including if its one or two handed.
I think thats how humans have two handed Glaives but those Atlantian big fella's have one handed Glaives.

That's true, I could just define the weapon myself. You are a wise one, Mr. Doo. |

I think you should look at the db file:http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=42819
Creating your own weapons makes it harder to make it compatible with other mods. (Such as the armor and weapon balance mod). |

Thank you. I tend to not use other peoples mods myself, so that's not a real issue with me. |

Re: Modding from work, need a little info
But if you plan to release your mod, it would be nice to use existing weapons. (It makes your mod also easier to make compatible, as it has a smaller weapon nr profile). But just details. Good luck with the mod. (And next time, post in the correct subforum ). |
