Why is a Lieutenant lower than a Major but a Major General lower than a Lieutenant General?
Which Military designed these silly ranks?

Just be glad we're using US ranks, Baron. How'd you like to be a Colonel-General or have a Field Marshall rank thrown in? Personally, I look forward to my upcoming Corporal-ness.

what is the deal with the lower half thing and rear admiral, i've never heard of a upper half rear admiral or more importantly a forward admiral. Just wondering (and posting), I think God shoudl be set so that only one person can ever be god at one time, or create several different gods, like Ares, Mars, Athena, Buddha, throw in some Norse too!
