				 Sorry
Sorry, I know I read it somewhere, but not in the FAQ I think, and I somehow cannot remember the answer to the question:
What does the amount "damage" does for alliegiance subverter?
Sorry to ask question that has been asked 10,000 times, but I cannot find it anymore...

Thanks |

The chance to subvert. if it is ,say 60, you have 60% chance to succeed. You must hit the ship first of course.

				 Re: Sorry
Thanks for your quick answer .

And if I understand well, the ONLY way to defend against such thing is the MC right? And it is 100% defense.

There no way to mod a "defense bonus" that apply against only allegiance subverter.

If the MC of a ship get destroyed, I think I remember reading that the ship still cannot be subverted isn't it? |

				 Re: Sorry
Can the ship "know" which enemy ship has a MC then target a crewed ship?
The reason I ask, I took over for a race that has this trait, and wondered how people use it since it has a slow reload. Do you put one on each ship so you have a shot at subverting an enemy ship?

				 Re: Sorry
i put an AS on each of my ships, minimum hull of cruiser, with the largest available mount. i make sure it is the first weapon placed. if the subVersion is successful the my ship will target other ships. if its not then the rest of the ship's weapons will target this one and attempt to destroy it. i usually try to target carriers and missile ships first then beam ships if nothing else in range.

I tend to make conVersion ships that have as many AS on them as possible.
Remember, once the mount makes your AS do 100+ damage, it is big enough. Larger mounts are a waste of space. |

true, but bigger mounts give you greater range. the greater the range the better chance of surviving an attack by a fleet of 30+ enemy ships. as i have learned to my great sorrow, and the lives of many of my citizens. starbases and weapon platforms are the best.Quote:

				 Re: Sorry
Only base, sat, and WP mounts give greater range. The standard ship mounts only give damage multipliers.
