				 Emissive armour question.
Dose emissive armour work on each and every shot against a ship? So if you have Emissive armour that prevents say 20 points damage against a ship with a thousand weapons that do 20 points each you will never be hurt? |

 You will be invulverable, yes.
However it doesn't work the same way for fighters Last time I checked; their shots stack.

 Thanks.
Ah well so much for me thinking I might have actually found a use for emissive armour.

Emissive armor is not very useful in standard SE4 because of the mounts. If you get rid of the uber-mount system of SE4, it can become possible to make emissive armor have a purpose, and then to make low damage ratio/high damage per shot weapons like AM Torpedos and WMGs be useful.

				 Re: Emissive armour question.
One of the advantages of Mods, I guess. Emissive armor is basically worthless IMHO in stock Gold. As said below, I thought it would make lots of fighter configurations impotent but then found out the shots stack. Otherwise, there aren't many mounts emissive armor can be used against. Ripper ONES on standard mount, maybe...
