Players wanted for PvK's Proportions Game #1 on PBW

Several players have developed strong empires and then left for one reason or another. This leaves several intact developed empires open for players to take over, if anyone is interested in starting a Proportions game from the mid-game, where the long build-up to colonies, fleets, and technologies, is well under way.

However this is a much slower-paced strategic game than typical SE4. It's a great opportunity for Proportions fans with a lot of patience, IMO.

I might be interested but my Version is 2.5.3.1. What do I need to do or is this ok?

You can only play the game with the exact Version that it is running. You can install multiple Versions of a mod. Just append the mod Version number to the folder name, and away you go. You can even use periods.

IIRC, the Space Vikings and the Kazharii are in the best positions out of the empires that need replacement players.

Okay, now how do I fix the password for the empire (Space Vikings?)

You need to get the previous player's password from the previous player (Rollo).

If we can't reach Rollo, then we'll need to have the PBW administration reset the password, and you'll miss the first turn while I reset the player's password.

P.S. I just sent Rollo a PM on the forum system here asking him to email you (at your email address available in this forum) with the password.

P.P.S. Once you have that password, you will need to both use it to run the current turn, and un-do the change you made on PBW of the password before you knew it.

Hmmm, I think I've bit off a little more than I can chew. I'd be more than happy to start a new game like this from scratch, but to pick up in the middle for a newbie like me is just a little too much, thanks anyway.
