				 Empire for PBW
I know I read somewhere either on this site or PBW's that if I don't have the right empire file to match the empire I've taken over in the game I've just joined, that players will keep seeing me as first one type, then another. That must be annoying and I'd like to avoid it. I'm supposed to be Minbari and I don't have those empire files. Do I just download some files to the empire folder, or is there more to it than that? Naturally I've been unable to find where I read it.

I'm pretty sure you don't need the empire file. However, everyone else needs to have the shipset your empire is using, or else they'll see the changing ships, etc.

Yes, it's the lack of the correct shipset (not empire file) that causes the problem. The empire file defines the shipset to use and can't be changed, so you and your fellow players will need that shipset on their computer. (in Pictures/Races folder) Those that don't have it will get a random shipset from those they do have. Just download it at any time to fix the problem.
I played my entire KOTH game against Parabolize seeing a new shipset each turn. I am sooooo lazy!

Okay. So that goes into the races folder inside the pictures folder, and that's all I need to do?

Pictures/Race folder is for Race images and race AI files.
If you do not have the correct race the game will automatically assign you a random race each turn. This can become very annoying. What race are you playing as?

Atrocities: That's what I was afraid of. The Game description says I'm supposed to be Minbari.
I've been accepted into the game, but haven't yet played a turn because the game rejected my password.

You can have the game host generate a new password for you; youll have to miss a turn for that but that probably isn't much of a problem since you haven't been able to play any anyway

And while you wait, download and install the Minbari shipset. It's probably available on PBW in the Files section.
