SE V?

So.... Does anyone know in any sort of outlandishly rough estimate, just how long till SE V or how far along design is? Or at all??

SEV is in concept and initial design stage. I do not know the specifics, but some interface work has been done, as well as some basic game design. It will, at the most optimistic estimation, be at least 1 year off.

i think it was in the avatar thread, it was some space empires V tagline pictures.

Nice pics. Yummy. I hope we don't have to wait a year as Fyron said. I remember Aaron saying (or it might be wishful thinking) on the board here somewhere that the game would be released somewhere in 2004 rather than 2005.

WOW Thanks for this infromation I had no idea that Arron had plans for a SE V, that is really exciting to hear. I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas morning though now.

Plus a Patch for SE IV to fix those small little annoying problems. I forsee the Space Empires series consuming all my free time. Sometimes it is good to be in bad health and at home.

Yes, a Christmas 2004 release, which is close enough to a year away to call a year.
