				 Thank you David E Gervais.
I'd need a larger picture for my history edits first page.
Something like this icon, with black borders to melt into a black page.
But larger and in jpg format.
    http://ruatha.homelinux.org/favicon.ico
Can you make it? Or someone else?

the icon can be seen in the browser adress if you go here:
   http://ruatha.homelinux.org
I'm not sure of the size 150x150 or something.
I'll adjust it to fit. It will be the same size as the current picture in the History editor.

So basically a gray planet with a sun flare in the upper left right?
Do you want a starfield background? (I'll make it fade to black around the edges.)

and is 150x150 the size you need? or are you just guessing?

Cheers!

P.S. This thread was posted and 'bumped' while I was sleeping. (yes I have been known to nap from time to time ) |

Done! Where do I send it? And do you have a prefered file format? The original is .bmp uncompressed 24 bit and is 67kb. I also saved it as a .jpg low-loss compression 7k, and a Version in optimized .gif 9k.
There is very little visual difference between the different file formats. If you want I can zip all three formats and let you see for yourself.

Cheers!
EDIT: Oops, silly me, I just noticed that you requested it in .jpg format. Forget what I said, really I never said anything. .gif Ha! why would I even mention that. where's your proof?
