Cant see graphics since updating to latest
... SEIV. Update went without a hitch but only the user intrface graphics are displaying not the star maps, planets, etc.

Do you still have pictures in the graphics directory under your main se4 directory (in the various sub-sub directories)??

This has happened to me in rare instances, just not after an new install. Under the heading of "stupid suggestions you probably thought of, but I have to ask for completeness"(TM), did you try minumizing then maximizing the game of SE4? That has worked for me at times.

If you are using a mod, perhaps you need to download the imagemod again.

Installing the patch may have killed files like planets.bmp or facilities.bmp - the ones that display all the mini images.

Ah so! Hadn't thought to check that since such behaviour would be totally unexpected and off the wall. But ....

Yeah, if you were using the imagemod then that's probably the reason as the patch overwrites the imagemod Planets /Facilites/etc.bmp files

It would actually only overwrite ONE file each in the Facilities, Components, and Planets folders.
Planets.BMP, Components.BMP, and Facility.BMP.
Simply replace the new Versions with the onces from the Image mod and your back in business.
