mods
Right this is a really noobish question to ask but how do i get mods working, ive copyed them into they directory but they dont work. please help.

There's a mod launcher available, but I'm not sure where. All you need to do really is go into the Space Empire IV directory, open the Path.txt file and on the line that says
Using Mod Directory :=None
Change 'None' to the directory name of the mod you want to use.

The most recent version of the Mod Launcher is available for download from SpaceEmpires.net. There is an outdated version on the Gold CD, but I recommend you get the latest version.
Editing Path.txt manually is such a pain... |

Place mods into your Space Empires IV directory and do as Fyron and AgentZero has said and get the Matrix Mod launcher. If you download the STM (Star Trek Mod) there are instruction and a link for the mod launcher and how to install SEIV fonts onto your computer so that you can read the descriptions for the mods in the mod launcher.
