				 Movay question
Does anyone else out there use Movay as a tool to create race pics?
I can't seem to save my files as anything but in the movay format. I am trying to save them as .bmp, or actually anything like .gif etc, and open them later with Paint Shop Pro 5.

Anyone know how to do this?

 Thanks.

				 Re: Movay question
When you render them out they will be created into whatever output file type you choose in the setup (standard is BMP) Then go into the POVSCN folder, it the BMP file will be in there. (Note: The picture will need to be adjusted for size.) |

Yea, I'm stupid, I meant moray.
Thanks, Zero. Found it right away!!! Now I am on my way to making a god-awful ugly race. Hope I can make up for it in the AI department.

				 Re: Movay question
There's a program called sPatch that can create *.mdl files with organic-type shapes. I haven't really worked with it much, but the interface seems simple enough. Should be easier than making tons of unions/merges/differences/whatever else moray does
You used to be able to get it on the moray site, but I think you can only get the patch to make it work with moray now (you'll need that too). A search on google should bring it up though.

				 Re: Movay question
I use both sPatch and hamapatch. Hamapatch uses sPatch plugins and so can export to Moray and has more functions. |

				 Re: Movay question
The sPatch home page is toast (again.) So, HamaPatch is probably the better way to go for stability's sake. If anyone is really keen on sPatch, I have an archive of Version 1.5 on CD somewhere.
