\"Forget\" enemy designs after my scanning ship moves?!

I've got a cloaked vessel with Long-Range Scanners I, and when I approach an enemy (or ally, for that matter) vessel, I can see the design of the enemy ship. But once the ship moves away, I can no longer see the design!

It guess it make sense that I shouldn't be able any longer to click on the ship to see its components, but even when I go into Designs, Enemy Ships, the vessel classes are no longer listed!

Does this make sense? This means I have to actually WRITE DOWN ON A PIECE OF PAPER any designs I am particularly interested in remembering.

Is this a bug? Or is there a "remember this design" button I am missing?

		Sounds like a bug.
I'd like a memory feature able to remember more things.
What about cliking on a system you explored some time ago, but you have no longer presense and seeing the enemy colonies there? Maybe a legend beside the sys name reading "As seen in 2410.3"

I guess it is also not listed in the moment you are in range ? The enemy designs seem to be listed just if you have been in a combat situation with the ships, but you are right, it definetely would make sense with scanners also.

Can't really tell if it's immediate or not--it's a PBW game. And you're right-they definitely will stick around in the Design page if I have been in combat. But the same should be true if I've scanned them with Long-range scanners.

If I END THE TURN within one square of another ship, then I can see their components, both by clicking on the ship or by going into Designs, Enemy Ships. But the following turn, after one or both ships have moved away, I cannot see their design by either clicking on the ship or going into Designs, Enemy Ships. I "forgot" what I scanned, I guess. And if I didn't write it down, I'll have to chase the ship down and scan it again.

Very good idea. It will simulate the "fog of war" of the real time strategy games.
