				 Screwy Noises ???
I downloaded SEIV onto another computer, and I re-encountered an odd problem with the sound in the game, though I can't recall what the solution was.
Periodically I get a screwy screeching while playing the game. How do I go about correcting this ???

Sounds like a bad sound file. I had that with the meson blaster once. The easiest way is probably to toggle the "old sounds" option.

Otherwise, go and hunt down the offending wav file, and replace it.

Are you sure that isn't how the .mp3 file was supposed to sound? There is an errie sound file that sounds to me like an interupted alien communication -- whispery and beeping at the same time. |

 Damn sure (lol) !!!
It was a screeching static/white noise/chaotic sound worse than nails on a chalkboard through an amplifier during a really bad hangover....

Not much info here. Go to your hardware properties and check that the CD and soundcard are configured properly. Check your CD for damage. Try playing a music cd on there and see if it's all running correctly. |

Possible that the download was corrupted or something similar? |
