weapon slots

does it matter which weapon slot an AT weapon is in to be used for close assualts.
(I.E. when the AI is doing the assualting, like an ambush sitution, when your AFV runs into enemy infantry during your turn, for instance)

for instance does it matter if a panzerfaust goes in slot 3 and a Grenade in slot 4, or vice versa.

No - 3 or 4 will do, or 1 or 2.
