"grant independance?"

Anyone see the option anywhere in Gold? It's mentioned in the manual but I can't find it in the program.

Side note: the manual's good, but the index sucks. Tried looking up information on simultanious games- which seems to be absent from the manual- and the manual gave 5 pages. None of them so much as had the word on them..
