				 Group select on combat screen
I deployed a bunch of satellites around a wormhole, and sadly they've been deployed far from the wormhole on the combat screen. Is there any way to group select them, instead of moving them one by one? Or a better way entirely?
 Thanks

You could try moving the ship to where you want, recovering the sats and then relaunching them.
Otherwise, to reduce the pain, increase the maximum zoom-out so you only have to move the satellites once without scrolling.

I don't think you have to have zoomed into the area you want to deploy them. You can zoom in to where they are, select each, and then drop them in the general area of the wormhole. |

My point is that if you are zoomed out far enough to see both where they are and where you want them to be, at the same time, then you don't have to scroll. That makes it much much easier to click and move them.
Scrolling is slow, and makes for moving targets.

Re: Group select on combat screen
This has happened to me a lot. Instead of surrounding the warp point the units surround a ship off to the side. It is quite ridiculous - I'm not sure why it was setup this way.
I've had some success fixing it by moving the units away 1 sector then back again. For satellites you have to get a ship to load them and launch them in the sector next to the warp point until they are all moved, then do the same to move them back. Maybe this is fixed in v1.66, but I didn't see anything in the change log about it.

What would be good is if you could specify in the strategy how far from the warp point the units will be placed - which I've suggested too. It makes little sense to put satellites with missile weapons that can shoot 250km right next to the warp point so ships we beam weapons can come though and immediately start blowing them up, but that's what we got.

Also it would be good if you could zoom out far enough to see both places, but in fact you can hardly zoom out at all.

Re: Group select on combat screen
The max zoom is in settings.txt
Don't set it too high though, since the camera always starts at the max distance and the movement rate is linear.
(Hold down the plus key to zoom while using your mouse wheel to also zoom)
Also note that combat sounds have a limited range, and camera height counts.
