				 Newbie Blockage Question
 Gentlemen
Forgive this newbie question. I did a search and didn’t see what I was looking for.

If I blockage an enemy planet. Can that planet still build mines, weapons platforms, and whatnot? Thanks

 Jim

				 Re: Newbie Blockage Question
At first, a blockaded planet will simply be unable to deliver gathered resources and various points. Other than that, it operates normally. After a few turns, the populace will probably start to riot, shutting down everything.

If the planet happens to have a significant troop presence, and/or if there is a pacification center in the system, they will be able to hold out longer against your siege.

				 Re: Newbie Blockage Question
Also note that launching mines from a blockaded planet won't affect the blockading ship (unless it leaves the sector and comes back again). Mines are only triggered by enemies entering their sector.
