Re: question about pre-order status
I got this automatic email response just now when I tried to pre-order:
"Dear Customer,
Thank you for your interest in Dominions II. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to fill your order, because the initial printing of 10,000 CDs has been sold out. This was completely unexpected, due to customer #2802 (CPBELLER) placing an order for 9,932 units of Dominions II on OCT-10-2003. This customer #2802 appears to be a major retailer, since he recently also placed a bulk order for Dominions I... as such, we cannot risk offending this customer #2802 by giving you one of his 9,932 units. Please check back later. In the meantime, a dual monitor setup with Dominions I for gameplay and Shogun: Total War for graphics should replicate the Dominions II experience.

Strange. I wonder who this customer #2802 could be?
