What are the AI Weaknesses?

Besides having trouble with Finite Resources what are some other AI weaknesses? I'd like to avoid/prevent using a technology, map or strategy where the AI is unable to counter or fight back... in other words as fair as possible.

I search the forum on "AI Weaknesses" but only found topics related with SpaceEmpires_4.
