I'll try to give some answers to the stuff I remember.

1. Lances are never used for repell purposes.
2. No
3. 2d6+morale versus 10+2d6+attack_roll-defence_roll
5. No
6. The first
7. halves the final damage I think
8. Tripples base damage (which may include strength)
