component question for SJ

hey there. got a question on some of the P&N components, but i will start with this one. on the phased torpedos, what the heck is this:

Number of Abilities := 1
Ability 1 Type := Phased Shield Generation
Ability 1 Descr := +15% accuracy.
Ability 1 Val 1 := 0
Ability 1 Val 2 := 0


did you just want a note field to illustrate their accuracy, or did you want them to be damaged by shield generator destroying weapons?
