For me "city of the damned" was named right. I sent in a good 2A,1B,2H priest guarded by 10units to have him insta-die from a trap.
Every time I searched... lethal trap in addition to fighting an undead group. When I finally got a unit who could consistantly survive the traps my total rewards over a 2year (24turns) period was less than 100 gold.
Worth it? After those 24turns I decided it wasn't & stopped searching. However, I've heard others have had better luck and it later turned out there was a also Strange Opening (misfortune magic site) there as well (bringing me from Luck0 to Misfortune1-2 in the province) which may have had something to do with my bad luck there.
