Random Map Graphics Mod?

Hi everyone,
New player here. I've been playing random maps (which I enjoy) but find it really hard to "read" the maps in comparison to other strategy titles. I lurked through the Mods list but didn't see anything that obviously addressed this. And after seeing the custom maps offered in the Mods section the vanilla random maps look poor at best.
Any insight is appreciated!
