Supposedly, the original Version of this scam has cost people 8 billion dollars world wide and funding various rebel and terrorist organization.

Personally, I would forward this email to all the banks in south africa and tell them someone is trying to commit fraud. I would also forward a copy to the FBI which has an ongoing manhunt for the parties involved
