Next thing you know they will be paying you out of the Dept of Agriculture, and you’ll have a VA. Driver’s license with a Fredericksburg address on it. And you still won’t know why they did it

What is the difference between a "non-commissioned officer" and a "commissioned officer"?

The "unpronounceable one" has posted enough Messages to raise his rank from seargent to 2nd louie.
Keep at it Kamog, you'll get there too.
And so will I if I keep posting fluff like this.

The real answer is, we work for a living.
This seemed like a good topic for my first post...

Re: Promotions -> Non-Coms do all the Work -> Space is the Navy\'s -> No it\'s not -> etc.
I have often wondered if I had added up all of the Posts that I have ever made over all the forums I have belonged to what my post count would be and what rank that would equal.
I have been a moderator in 7 forums, and have held forum ranks as high as they can go, say for those who owned the forum.
Congrats on your 400th posting. I look forward to your 1000th.
And welcome to the forum DarkHorse.

One is commissioned, one is not commissioned! Whew!
OK, Here is a list of NCO's (Non-Commissioned Officers; Corporal, Sergeant, Staff Sergeant, Sergeant First Class, Master Sergeant, First Sergeant, Sergeant Major, Command Sergeant Major, Sergeant Major of the Army. Does that help?
