Is it a good thing to have a psychic, help you in a war...

I do volontary work at a childrens helpline.
One kid phoned in about a problem at school, I asked if he had talked to someone at school about it?
"- Yes, I've spoken to the psychopath!"

I replied:
"-Hmm, do you mean psychologist?"

Whithout any humour or hint of mischief, he answered "-Yes, that's what I meant."
(And the conversation wen't on..)

(btw, my wife is a psychologist)

Oh, no! A psychotic psychologist? Would such a person be able to help himself, or will he have to go see another psychotic psychologist?

What, this thread isn't about the merits of getting your Psychic ally to join you in your war, thus giving him the opportunity to use his Allegiance Subverters against your enemy's ships, gaining them for himself???

(I used to do something similar all the time in MOO2 - someone would ask me to declare war on someone, I'd do it and conquer all my new enemy's planets and my ally didn't even mind that I had expanded so!

)
