OT: Superbowl

I must confess, this is the first time I have watched the superbowl.

For some reason, I find myself rooting for TB.

I have no idea why I would.

Could they be the underdog?

Glad I didn't bet on this one. Tampa's killing them, and it's only halftime.

I need to update my prediction.

Tampa Bay: 41
Oakland: 10

Then I will get my money.

Great the raiders went for 2 points. Money down the toilet...oh well.

I predict that Oakland will throw 5 interceptions, 3 of which will be returned for touchdowns. Oh, wait, that already happened. Too bad I wasn't rooting for Tampa Bay. (My team went 2-14 or 3-13 or something--it's hard to catch those Detroit games down here.)

It will take them at least 2 more years before they will even get a .500 team.

But the final is in. It was a 48-21 whooping for Tampa Bay. My team made it through. (Not my favorite team, but my team to win this game) I predicted 27-21 in favor of Tampa Bay so I got half of the score right.

But my saying is: "Defense always wins!" And that is the truth.

I can't wait for next year. Gotta wait 8 1/2 stinking months though. Ahh well, March Madness and the NBA is next.

But in the NFL next year I think my team, the Jacksonville Jaguars will get to the playoffs. They just begun a rebuilding process this year but I think they can at least get to the playoffs. Tennessee will do nothing this year. Colts are going to be in trouble with having to redo alot of contracts in order to keep Manning. And of course the Texans are still a fresh team so the Jags could do something. But it will take alot of work and finding some good players for cheap prices. They cannot be a free agent contender with their cap the way it is. But anyways, enough of my rambling.

Tampa Bay rules!

I wasn't much for either team though I prefered the Buc's for being the underdogs.

You could just tell they would make in after the first couple plays. Admittedly the Raiders got screwed one touchdown. And they were playing for too many two-pointers, I think they coulda at least made it a close one (or maybe a win) if they didn't lose that TD and went for extra points.

Was a pretty fun game
