Re: Please Take A Look
I like the ship! I'm guessing it's either a Battleship or Colony ship. The shade of red is well picked, dark enough to give it Mass and bright enough to show some detail.
Yup, I like it! I really do!
Cheers!

Re: Please Take A Look
Beleive me its a lot harder to make one of these things than you might imagine.
The odd shapes of the Ferengi ships is going to be difficult to copy in any great detail. I can touch it up with PSP or in paint, but overall, I think I can pull it off.
(This is an older Version, newer one looks a bit more real.)

Re: Please Take A Look
it does resemble the Ferengi ships. If your trying to make it really look like one, maybe a longer "neck" and smaller "horns". I still think it looks good.
And as I have no artistic talent at all, I can imagine how hard it is to make that.

Re: Please Take A Look
It looks like it's made of highly polished wood, similar to the color and texture of an oak table. It really doesn't look like a ship, but I don't know what it looks like ... something old-fashioned, as if it's a rare antique belonging in a museum display. It's a very unusual and unique design. The 'wood' look combined with the shiny polished texture is quite remarkable.

Re: Please Take A Look
i dunno. i thought it was clearly gloss red plates, that were streaked and stained from wear. i dont see the antique wood at all.

Re: Please Take A Look
The first thing that popped into my head was "It is a Ferengi...". The second thing was "...Teapot".
Very respectfully, I think it needs a little work. It needs some refinement to be placed on the same shelf as some of your other awesome shipsets.
Slick.
