Well, it results in Posts like this.. 
That and I doubt this would happen here but I've seen other forums go downhill with all the "posting to raise post count" garbage. Things like never editing, "in before the lock" on threads that were going downhill, mocking newbies, spam threads, -post macros- even.
When I say spam thread, I'm not thinking "cantina" or "thread with no name". I'm thinking "30 pages of people posting the same thing"
