Re: OT- SEIV THE SOUNDTRACK Song Selection
1) Rage Against the Machine - Imperial March
2) Richard Wagner - Ride of the Valkyries
3) The Laziest Men on Mars - All Your Base Are Belong To Us
Rage, because their Version of the Imperial March is just f***ing cool. And I always liked Ride of the Valkyries. And I still think AYB is hilarious. Normally I would just have whatever was on winamp playing while I had an SEIV session, but if I had to select a definite soundtrack, those would be on it. Probably not many songs that actually have words...

Re: OT- SEIV THE SOUNDTRACK Song Selection
1) Monster Magnet - Powertrip
2) Blur - Song 2
3) The String Tribute to Tool
The first two because they provide that manic edge that I find conducive to galactic conquest. The Last because hearing the nut-vibrating hum of cello and violin as they crank out Tool is oddly surreal... yet pleasant.

Re: OT- SEIV THE SOUNDTRACK Song Selection
my personal taste runs to mostly John Williams' scores, so if I did play music while playing SE4, it would mostly likely be tracks from the Star Wars soundtracks.

Re: OT- SEIV THE SOUNDTRACK Song Selection
When I play SEIV I allways listen to Star Wars.
1 Starting a game or in peace times: "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope: 6 The hologram - Binary sunset", or "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope: 08 Tales of a Jedi Knight - Learn about the Force", or "Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back: 17 Lando's Palace", or "Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi: 14 Luke and Leia".
2 In battle: "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope: 16 The Death Star - The Stormtroopers", or "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope: 22 The Battle of Yavin", or "Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back: 5 The Battle of Hoth", or "The Return of the Jedi: 7 The Pit of Carkoon - Sail Barge Assault, 17 The Battle of Endor, 19 The Battle of Endor II, 20 The Battle of Endor III".
3 Creating a powerful fleet: "A New Hope: 3 Imperial Attack",or "The Empire Strikes Back: 12 Imperial March".
4 Destroying a planet or a system: "A New Hope: 15 Destruction of Alderaan".
5 Winning: "A New Hope: 23 The Throne Room - End title", or "The Empire Strikes Back: 23 The Rebel Fleet - End title", or "The Return of the Jedi: 21 Leia's news - Light to the Force, 22 Victory celebration - End title".

Re: OT- SEIV THE SOUNDTRACK Song Selection
1. Chillpenguin stage music from Megaman X (really! )
2. Anything from Master of Orion 2... well, except the Bulrathi music, that's soooo boring, has like 4 notes...
3.... ummm, I dunno... but there's this really cool remix of the Megaman 4 boss music at vgmusic.com which might work for combat... you can tell I really like video game music
