Never played proportions either. And I don't play single player.
I'll read the readme that comes with the mod and hope I will conquer all anyway, whoa ha ha

Sure Captain, the more the marrier. Proportions seems like it alters the game so much that even old schoolers will be like newbies until they figure it out.

Rutha, you might want to search around these Boards, I've found lots of good strategy for proportions on this board, most from PvK(I think he made the mod), so their is a wealth of information out their.

I've played Proportions in Single Player a few times. I would not say that I have by any means mastered the changes to the game.

I would recommend that Neutrals be dropped from this game. Since there are so many players already, they seem kind of superflous.

Also, let's make sure there are no duplicate ship sets. Nothing drives me crazier than that!

It doesn't take all that long to learn Proportions. Just don't think it plays the same as unmodded SE4. Don't do the exact same things you would do there.

tell me about it. When I first started playing against the computer I went ahead and did the usual colonization rush. Little did I know, colonies don't produce sqwat at first. Next thing I know, I'm trying to fend off hords of destroyers from the computer.
