I think CI points are used in projects on the right end first. Or maybe it was the left side, I forget. Either way, the points are used based off of the order the CI projects are in your queue. I think it is the right end first, working to the left.

ZA, no, you have 4k + 20% = 4.8k effective points for defense, because all CI points count for 20% more than they are, in addition to the level modifiers. This is still not enough to stop a 5k project, but it can make a difference in many other situations.

sorry i asked 2 questions at once.
1st: in the lvl 1 ci gaining lvl 2 and keeping lvl 1. what i meant was would i gain any benefit from the lvl 1 ci points that i have accumulated. should i continue letting the lvl 1 ci increase until the project is completed then drop it while letting the lvl 2 gain pts also, or should i just drop the lvl 1 project immediately and start from scratch with just the level 2 ci.

2nd: would i gain any benefit from having multiple ci projects of same level going at the same time. would it use the points in one of them and then when they are used up start using the points from the 2nd one or once the points in the first one are used then thats it and i am vulnerable to attacks even though there is a 2nd ci gaining points.

reason for these is i usually have multiple projects going with divide points evenly on but i would really like to have a larger pool of ci points available. say 5 projects going and 2 or 3 of them as ci and rest as intel atks against other empires.

Yes. More points = better. Place the CI 1 at the end of the queue so that it is used up first. Delete it once it is empty.

Yes. All points in CI are used regardless of which projects they happen to be in.

Oh yeah... don't spend more points in the CI 1, just keep the points already in it around for defense. Make sure all new CI spending is in CI 2.

Fyron: Didn't kow about the 20% thing, but that was not my point. I basicly wanted to know whether my understanding of how intell worked was right, which it is, so I don't have to worry about it.
