				 Re: Ratings
yeah, if mine sinks to 1 again i'll probably kill it, but at the moment it's fun to watch it go up little by little.
Hrm, thats really unjustified of them, i agree. its supposed to be about giving good advice and stuff, not agreeing/disagreeing with political opinions.

I dunno about your comments on "tha war" (I gon't bother reading those threads) but I can remember your name associated with some remarks that I would label "uncalled for": remarks about a person's chosen nickname here and, I think, even his choice of Einstein as an avatar. I'd call that a personal attack for no apparent reason that I could discern.Quote:

I had a pretty good rating untill I started oppossing the war in Iraq, calling Bush a moron, and defending Israel.
I guess some people are childish enough to rate people based in non-SE4 issues.
Anyway, I removed the option to rate me not just because it sunk to the bottom, but because I started feeling like that rating is a pressure to be liked by the group, and I'm not like that. I'm what I am and I'm as politically incorrect or correct as I believe is right, and the Last thing I want is to be judged.

So, just maybe it wasn't your views on "tha war". I didn't bother to go make any adjustment to your rating, but the comments you made in that thread were remembered. It was back when you had some wizard (or something) as your avatar.

 | Gregbowman's name really sounds like Gregwoman if you happen to have Israeli accent, and in no way I told him that as an offense. And my comment of Einstein looking sick as in sexually sick was intended as a joke.
In the end, nothing in this world is "uncalled for".
If you wanna be accepted by posting not what you really think, but what is going to be accepted, then be free to do so.
I post what i think is right, even though it might be wrong, and if its wrong according to what i believe to be right, then I will apologize and try to amend it, like the other day when Oleg called to my attention some poorly phrased comment from my part about stepsons.

About politics, enjoy your freedom of speech, it might not Last much longer, me fear.

 | Perhaps this was one of those cases as the person in question seemed inclined to "defend" himself a bit, I didn't take it as kidding around (perhaps MY mistake), as I recall, another person popped in on the thread and said, "That was not very friendly". Also, you seemed to be irritated over this person's excitement about getting a new PC.

So, as you said above, perhaps you didn't phrase it as well as it should have been if it was intended to be kidding around.

I wasn't irritated, and it was not about getting a new computer, but about the zillion times he said he couldn't play something cause his computer was too old.Quote:

Now this Last part, I agree it was not friendly. Everybody have the right to say whatever he wants. Now I see from where you were coming, and I have to accept that you are right.
