Is that in a Finite game? or do the asteroids lower the percentage because of mining? If that is the case, then making planets out of them would be an option, if I can wait that long.

Asteroids do deplete in value when you mine them, even in Infinite games. I always thought that was kind of silly.

ARRRGHHHH!!! well, that puts a serious cramp in my style I wanted to be a true capitalist, I wanted to exploit them asteroids for everything I could squeeze out of them, and NOW I find that the GODs play an evil trick on me

HAHA, I don't know if that is a compliment or not. If not, I bet you would consider it explotion when I change all my planet atmospheres to Methane since that is what I breath muhahaha, if I could get a remote atsmophere converter, I would make a fleet of them and change the universe to my needs. Better buy stocks in Dome manufacturing here I come....

You CAN disable that in Settings.txt (I do). Not sure if you can do it mid-game though. Can someone back me up on that?

You should be able to see the effects of changing that setting mid-game as it has nothing to do with the map itself.
